The Band ...

So, what is a New Brew? In this case it’s a unique, musical trio consisting of the acoustic guitar sounds of Mike Biere and Glen Wegryn with the percussive additions of Rick Boyer. 

Hailing from Cincinnati, the New Brew guys play an eclectic mix ranging from mellow to rowdy, including everything from Simon & Garfunkle to The Who! The best part is that the guys’ music fits perfectly in a variety of settings. If you need quiet dinner music or an all-out dance party, New Brew can accommodate. While most of the song selections are more from the “classic rock” era, there are selections ranging from the ‘50’s to current day in their repertoire. Vocals are a highlight with lots of two part harmonies, and the musicianship is also top notch!

Once again, what’s a new brew? Not some coffee or craft beer though that could be part of the story depending on the venue, but mostly New brew is fantastic musical mix!

 

New Brew consists of three (3) members at this time with an occasional "guest artist" as needed. They have (collectively) in excess of 100 years of playing music as soloists, band members, instructors, and more. Former groups include: Something Good, Bridge Street Duo, Those Guys, Strange Brew, and others.
